Black Transmen, Inc is excited to host the 2nd Annual Transgender Advocacy Conference once again bringing together hundreds of transgender individuals and allies. Each year we are focused on building on the success of the previous year including the quality and quantity of social events available to our guest.  We are planning an event of a lifetime for transmen, women and youth and are depending on your artistic contributions.  Our goal is to expose conference attendants to the plethora of talent possessed by the transgender and LGBTQHI communities. We are looking specifically for book authors, singers, dancers, poets or other  artistic expression. Interested artist and performers, please submit your information on this page.   Use your art to make a difference!  The deadline to submit participation information is February 1, 2013.

2013 Event Opportunities


TransManifest -Live! adds spotlight on artist emerging into national talent careers in music, singing, dancing, poetry and acting.  Artist are both seasoned and beginners in talent experience.  Acts are presented in (3-4min) time allotments.  Featured Artist from TransManifest are also invited to perform at the Annual BTMI Advocacy Awards & Dinner &/or other conference events.

 (BTMI) Literary Cafe *NEW

The BTMI Literary Cafe features a pavilion of LGBTQHI authors, including those who are notable and new.  Book signing, discussion sessions  and on-site interviews with featured authors are just a few of the exciting activities.

Mr&Ms Black Transgender International Pageant *NEW

The Mr. & Ms. Black Transgender International Pageant acknowledges transmen and women who are making achievements in the transgender community and working to advance the transgender movement.  The Mr. & Ms. BTI Pageant celebrates the devotion to professional life and community.  Compete to represent the Black Transmen, Inc vision within local an national communities. Selected contestants agree to attend the National Competition to compete for the title.

(BTMI) Common Ground Greek Stomp Show*NEW

The Common Ground Stomp Show features competitive step teams from fraternities and sororities in the transgender and LGBTQ communities.  This stomp show event provides members the opportunity to get involved in community service and a sense of satisfaction and pride that benefits college recruitment and youth scholarship.

 A Meeting of The Mind - The Gentleman's Debate *NEW

"A Meeting of The Minds" is the first Black Transmen, Inc debate tournament showcasing some of the best LGBTQHI talent from around the world who are focused on social  change.  The debate is open to novice and professional debate enthusiast and promises to offer competitive and exciting tournament action. Individual & Group events available.
